What's New With the Formuler Z12 Ultra SE?

The Z12 Ultra SE is designed to bring essential features from the Ultra experience into a focused package while introducing the latest MYTVOnline4 platform.

Key highlights include 64GB built-in storage, Wi-Fi 6E, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and the new GTV-BT3 Backlight Bluetooth Voice Remote.

The built-in storage is especially useful for compatible apps, internal recording and supported TimeShift functionality, while MYTVOnline4 introduces a refreshed viewing and content-discovery experience.

Design and Entertainment Experience

The Formuler Z12 Ultra SE uses a compact design measuring approximately 135 × 100 × 24 mm.

The device combines a small footprint with a broad selection of physical connectivity options, including HDMI, Gigabit LAN, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, MicroSD and Optical S/PDIF.

This provides flexibility for different home entertainment configurations while keeping the device itself compact.

4K 60fps Video Performance

The Z12 Ultra SE supports output resolutions up to 4K (3840 × 2160) and video playback at up to 4K 60fps.

Supported video technologies include:

• AV1
• H.265 / HEVC
• H.264 / AVC
• HDR10+
• Dolby Vision

Dolby Vision can deliver enhanced contrast, color and image detail when used with compatible displays and supported content.

Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos

One of the standout features of the Z12 Ultra SE is support for both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

Dolby Vision enhances compatible video with dynamic picture information, while Dolby Atmos provides support for an immersive audio experience when paired with compatible content and audio equipment.

Together, these features make the Z12 Ultra SE particularly attractive for users building a premium 4K home entertainment setup.

64GB Internal Storage

The Z12 Ultra SE includes 64GB of built-in eMMC storage.

Compared with lower-capacity streaming devices, this gives users more room for compatible apps and supported recording features.

The built-in storage also enables supported internal recording and TimeShift functionality without requiring external storage for every recording scenario.

Actual available storage will be lower than 64GB because part of the capacity is used by Android and pre-installed software.

Wi-Fi 6E and Gigabit Ethernet

Network connectivity is another major strength of the Formuler Z12 Ultra SE.

It features Wi-Fi 6E AX 2x2 tri-band wireless connectivity, giving compatible networks access to newer wireless technology and additional spectrum.

Users who prefer a wired connection can use the built-in Gigabit Ethernet port.

Bluetooth 5.2 is also included for compatible Bluetooth devices and accessories.

MYTVOnline4 Experience

MYTVOnline4 is one of the most important additions to the Formuler Z12 Ultra SE.

The redesigned home experience makes it easier to access compatible content, resume viewing and discover content based on individual preferences.

Personalized Profiles

MYTVOnline4 supports up to four individual profiles, allowing household members to maintain separate preferences, viewing history and recommendations.

Content Discovery

The MYTVOnline4 interface introduces enhanced content-discovery and recommendation features designed to help users find something to watch more easily.

Clean Home Screen

The Formuler home screen provides a simple interface where users can organize compatible apps and access content without an advertising-heavy home-screen experience.

BT3 Backlight Bluetooth Voice Remote

The Z12 Ultra SE comes with the GTV-BT3 Bluetooth Voice Remote.

The BT3 introduces several convenience features:

• Backlit buttons
• Voice Assistant support
• Find My Remote
• TV IR learning
• Programmable hotkeys
• Ergonomic design

Backlit controls make the remote easier to operate in darker rooms, while Find My Remote can help locate a misplaced remote.

Quick Media Switching

The Formuler Z12 Ultra SE supports Quick Media Switching (QMS).

With a QMS-compatible television, this technology can help reduce temporary black-screen interruptions when changing between compatible content using different frame rates.

A compatible QMS-enabled display is required.
